Terraced decks and curved circulation routes weave through planted gardens, creating a layered environment for everyday social life

Panorama Residences envisions vertical living as an interplay between architecture, landscape, and dwelling. Two slender towers rise from an elevated green plinth, forming a composition that is both adaptive and composed. The architecture frames distant green horizons while moderating the intensity of the surrounding city. At its centre, the Energy Complex forms a sculpted ring of landscape and communal amenities that anchors the development. Together, these elements articulate an architecture guided by clarity and purpose.

Panorama Residences positioned between urban infrastructure and the expansive green horizon of the adjacent golf course

The site sits between two contrasting conditions. On one edge, a major urban artery defines movement and activity, while on the other, an expansive golf course opens toward distant green vistas. The architectural response begins with a careful reading of these forces. Building setbacks buffer traffic impact, while tower massing and orientation are shaped to capture views and allow natural daylight and prevailing breezes. Rather than imposing a predetermined form, the design evolves from site conditions, translating context, climate, and movement into architectural order.

Looking upward from the Energy Complex courtyard, the residential towers rise above a layered landscape that forms the project’s communal heart

Arrival unfolds as a gradual transition from urban movement into the residential realm. A covered pedestrian walkway along the perimeter landscape guides residents from the city edge toward a setback guardhouse and landscaped forecourt. From here, the sequence continues into the common lobby, where a circular green enclosure establishes the first moment of pause. A bubble lift then connects the ground layer to the elevated Level 6 communal deck. Along the way, architecture guides, shelters, and reveals, shifting the experience from movement to calm.

The Energy Complex terraces step upward as a sequence of inhabitable landscapes, integrating communal facilities, circulation, and greenery

At the base of the development, the Energy Complex reinterprets the conventional podium as an inhabitable landscape. Set away from the site boundary, it establishes a generous green foreground that defines the project’s identity. Landscape, amenities, and circulation are organised into layered spaces that rise from ground level to the elevated deck. Communal facilities and a jogging loop weave through planted terraces, allowing daily life to unfold within the landscape.

Environmental performance is embedded through passive design strategies. The gentle tilting of the towers enhances cross ventilation across units and corridors, while a central airwell supports stack ventilation by allowing warm air to rise naturally. Open corridors introduce daylight into circulation spaces, and a double roof reduces heat gain at upper levels. Rainwater is harvested for landscape reuse, reinforcing an environmentally responsive approach.

Within the residential units, bedrooms open directly to the exterior, ensuring natural light and ventilation without reliance on internal air wells. Horizontal copings and vertical fins moderate tropical sun and rain, while varied balcony designs allow residents to shape their own living spaces. This variation produces a façade animated by inhabitation rather than rigid repetition.

Materiality reinforces the experience of architecture. Aluminium louvres provide shading to the podium while maintaining visual permeability. Textured green walls, cascading planting, and the entrance water wall of the Energy Complex compose a living façade that is soft, luminous, and responsive. Through the interplay of texture and transparency, the architecture achieves a quiet balance between precision and warmth, openness and protection.

Together, these strategies shape a residential environment where architecture, landscape, and everyday living operate as a continuous system.
