D’ Network is Phase 3 of the Setia Eco Park neighbourhood centre. The two-storey development, spread over 3.16 acres, accommodates food and beverage outlets and a supermarket, that supplement the existing F&B outlets and community buildings in Phases 1 and 2.
It occupies the centre of the Setia Eco Park Masterplan and takes the form of a glittering necklace of buildings in a variety of geometric plan shapes, including an octagon, a decagon, and a square. They are strung together in an arc, that is integrated with a lake and musical fountain.
Solar panels provide the energy for the entire project. It is claimed to be the world’s first solar-powered F&B hub, with 345 kWp generated by roof-mounted solar panels creating a truly sustainable development.
Located to the southeast of the lake, the intention is that D’Network will connect people with nature. The lake is fringed by a landscape incorporating a pet-friendly park, a children’s playground, event lawns, a waterfall powered by solar energy, and a musical fountain in addition to a pétanque court.
At the drop-off area, a protective canopy thrusts forward, drawing visitors into the core of the development that includes F&B outlets pledged to producing food sustainably and reducing waste.
