Creating sense of place and identity

PARC situated alongside the picturesque Subang Lake, embodies the epitome of architectural ingenuity in response to a communal vision. The brief calls for a dynamic community edifice, seamlessly weaving individuals into a tapestry of connection through its expansive and versatile spaces. The ambient expanse of the site’s surroundings has been meticulously orchestrated to cater to a diverse spectrum of activities.

The project is conceptualised with social consciousness, the design artfully embraces the existing dilapidated futsal court shelter, ingeniously repurposing it for a new functionality. The architecture showcases sweeping expanses of openable fibreglass windows and strategically positioned skylights. This multifaceted community centre not only serves its pragmatic purpose but also, at dusk transforms into a radiant lantern, casting an enchanting allure upon its visitors. In the delicate interplay of form and function, PARC emerges as a beacon of architectural finesse, harmonising with its natural surroundings while fostering a sense of communal togetherness.

Glowing like a lantern at dusk

PARC is not just about urban space revitalisation, but it extends to the public parks, playgrounds and familiar communal gathering spots where the Subang Jaya community grew up. A space where we can meet and connect with both people and nature. Envisioned as a future-forward way of living with nature and community, PARC is designed to make Sustainability tangible, accessible and fun while building ways for the community to grow closer and interact better.

Making community and nature matter to people again.
